KTET Blind Candidates

The following shall be the criteria for blind candidates:

1. After submitting the application through online, the Blind Candidates who need the assistance of a scribe may approach the Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram through the Deputy Director (IED cell), Directorate of Public Instruction, Thiruvananthapuram along with necessary documents at least one week before the commencement of examination. Such candidate shall also be required to bring with him/her a list of two persons who are to be selected as scribes which will be duly recommended by the Head of Institution/School along with two latest passport size photographs of the scribe attested by the Head of Institution/School. A student studying in Higher Secondary classes in a school recognized and affiliated will be considered eligible to work as scribe for blind candidates.

2. An extra time of 20 minutes shall be allowed in one hour answering and fraction thereof.
