Final selection will be made through written test and /or interview of short-listed candidates.
In case, a candidates working in private sector is selected, he will have to undergo preappointment medical examination and detailed background check and checking.
It if it found that some wrong information has been furnished or some vital information, on the basis of which the selection has been made, has been concealed by a candidate, his candidature will be liable to be cancelled. If such candidate has been selected/appointed, such selection /appointment will be terminated without any show cause notice.
Candidates should have a valid passport. They may be required to produce the same at the time of their interview or before their appointment, as may be demand by the RailTel.
